Most people think that when my roommate and I go out, we only visit tourist attractions. We do see the famous sights, but that is never the whole plan. Whenever we go somewhere, I always ask my roommate where the nearest church is. It does no harm to step inside, so why not visit one? Because of that, we often end up exploring beautiful churches. One of the more well-known ones we visited was Notre Dame. It was impressive, but not exactly what I personally wanted to experience. My favorite church was the one we saw yesterday. I loved it mainly because it had a Mediterranean feeling to it. It was built on top of a hill and made mostly of stone, just like much of Montmartre. It is also one of the most visited places in Paris. I understand why, because from up there you can truly see how big Paris actually is. The view is one of the best in the city. You can even see the Eiffel Tower from that spot. We chose to visit this church last because it was the closest to us. And after all, why not leave the best for last
