Every day we learn something new. At least that is what everyone says. For the past week I have been learning a lot of new things, because I am in a new country with totally different people and they already showed me a lot of new thing.
One of our first tasks in high school in Slovenia was embroidery. So basically I already knew this skill, but it was fun to do that here again, and try some new techniques. One of the teachers here, showed us a book with different patterns and some work that student here have already done. Things that they did were amazing; they have so great imagination and such good skills. Then I tried to do a part of the picture from the famous Finish artist Klaus Haapaniemi. Because that takes a lot of time, I am finishing it every time I have free time.
Of course that isn鈥檛 the only thing I have learned. Our teacher here showed us the program on the computer, where you can draw clothes and add some pictures of your inspiration; basically you can do whatever you want in this program. I really like Adobe Illustrator (that is the name of the program), it is fun to create on it and it鈥檚 something totally different then if you do everything by hand. I try to make my聽dress that I will sew here. Then I still had some time so I even made my prom dress, which I鈥檒l make in school in Slovenia.
I have already learned so much new things here. I expect to learn many new skills, techniques and other fun and interesting things. I even think that when I come back home I will like being in fashion industry even more, because all those new experiences.
