Today we got assigned to a diffrent class. They have just started their first day of practical work in school. They dont go to companies for their practical work, as the school has all the equipment needed. They have containers, trucks, cranes, cars, forklifts… Today we were learning how to operate cranec and then working on them cranes. We were loading cargo on trucks and then putting it off again. They have three diffrent cranes, and each day we will be trying the other type, as they are diffrent types and work in diffrent ways. They also have much more practical work than us, more than five times per school year. I think this is a very good idea. Mostly becouse with theory you cant do much if u dont know how to convert that theory, that you learn in class into work. So its very important, that you get experience with work, as much as you can. Becouse then, when you get a real job, they dont have to learn you alot of things, and you start doing work by yourself faster. Which is a win-win situation, both for your employer and yourself too. It was very fun and we learned how to operate the machines quickly. we were in teams of three. One person was operating the crane, the other was helping him with advices and was guiding the cargo. The third person had a break. Then we switched. I cant wait for tommorow to resume our work. Lep pozdrav iz Danske 🙂
