The town was very quiet. I walked around and saw no people anywhere. It was so empty that it felt like a ghost town. I think most people were already asleep. Maybe they go to bed at five o’clock or something like that. The streets were completely silent. I could hear my own footsteps. The shops were closed . Even the playgrounds were empty. The wind made a little sound, but that was all. It felt a little spooky but also peaceful. I imagined what the town looked like during the day. People were probably at work or school then. Now, it was only me walking around. The town looked calm and strange at the same time. I realized how different a town can feel when everyone is asleep. I enjoyed the quiet but also wanted to hurry home.
