Day at work

The work day at school was a bit unusual, as I was not used to coffee breaks and their slower working speeds. They have four separate rooms each for one profession ( mechanic, car body repairer, car painter, toolmaker). The mechanical workshop is well equipped with 2 optic machine’s, six elevators, a tire centering device, tools… Mehanic workshop is divided  in two parts, one is for first year students, where they can still decide to be a car body repairer, a mechanic, car painter. The second part is for second and third year mechanics. One of the Finnish professors sent me, to one student to se how they work at their school. It seemed great because there was no  time distress and 2 students worked on one lift. Older cars are repaired at school  such as the 1980 Toyota Tercel Wagon. The repair shop also repairs more damaged parts of the car
