The second part of the school is located on the other side of Brno, it’s a school meant for only body work, more specifically, the restoration of vintage cars. It’s a one year program, and kids who go there are usually very smart and creative. I got a chance to go there, and it didn’t disappoint.
There is not one machine they don’t have, from CNC machines to TIG and MIG welders, they got it all. What is even more surprising is how skilled the students there are. Even though they are very skilled, they are also very kind. It was truly so refreshing to see.
They are so skilled at what they do that they even taught me how to use a few of the machines.
A fun fact about the second part of ISSA is that they have rabbits as pets there. I’m not sure how it passes the health inspection, but they said it does. Students there call them anti stress devices because they are not allowed to smoke and they pet the rabbits. For anyone worried about their ears, they are outside the workshop, not in, so they are not that exposed to the loud sounds of the workshops. They even named one rabbit after me, which I was very honoured by.
