I got a very interesting car to work on. It is a Volkswagen golf 3 that is tuned by ABT, this tuning company has a variety of tuning styles that range from interior designs to engine tuning so it’s capable to make twice the power. I personally really like cars that are tuned by them, because my dad had a lot of cars that were tuned by ABT and they were all really fast and powerful, but they are not the most fuel efficient.
So back to the main thing, the car came to the workshop and it was not starting, and had a dead battery. The students from the school were trying to start it but they couldn’t, so I went to help and I know a lot about these cars, and I knew exactly what to do because it was sitting in a garage for over 6 months. I told one of the students to go crank the engine over and I just cracked open the injector lines until fuel came out of them and it started to work right away. The students and the teachers were impressed because they were trying to get it started for half an hour. I drove it inside the garage and the car was completely stripped so I needed to put it back together from scratch and with my knowledge. They bought new gti seats for it and a new racing steering wheel that was beautiful. The other interior parts got renewed and the car looks brand new again. I mounted every part and even put an electric system for the windows. The car looks really great at the end and I was honored that I could work on that car.
