People in Tenerife speak English very poorly or not at all, which is contrary of what I expected. I really like Tenerife, because it’s different. There are hills and beautiful sand beaches. There are lots of dogs. The weather is warmer than I expected it to be. The jobs and the companies are sadly not what we expected. The work is simplistic and monotone.

It wasn’t all sunny this week. We had a rainy afternoon. The people here are really nice and kind. We often go to the centre to check out shops and things they have there. The week passed by pretty quickly. Sometimes it’s hard to fall asleep because of all the dogs and warm weather. We are pretty exhausted every afternoon. We will most likely get used to it pretty soon though.
