On Monday, we decided to meet the teacher from the local school, Tallinn Lasnam盲e School of Mechanics, in front of the hostel at 09.00 am. When we arrived at the school, we arranged all the necessary documents for the exchange. After that they took us on a tour of the school. If we compare our school, theirs was much better equipped and have a lot more space than our school.
Then they took us to see their workshops, like: plumbers, car mechanic, manual machining, welding, roof builder, builders and technicians. I was surprised by the size of the workshops and the modern equipment of the school. To me it was interesting that the whole school is under video surveillance from classrooms to hallways. After we finished the tour, they took us to have lunch with them and the interesting part is that they sweeten their vegetables.
After that, the teachers took us to our jobs where we will have our practice. I work in the car company Eleke Mustam盲e Toyota. Upon arrival, we met with the head of the workshop and he gave us a tour of the company. We agreed on our working time, and the rules. After the tour we went back home.
