This morning after breakfast, I headed to Hotell Olümpia, and from there took the bus number 16 to the station Löwnruch. From the station I went to the company that is about 120 m of away. At nine o’clock, we met with our boss and he showed us where we’ll have a locker for our suits. When I was ready to go to work, I walked outside the dressing room where my boss was waiting for me.

I’ve been assigned to work in an auto-diagnostic workshop, where we process new cars upon the request of the clients. In the workshop I met my mentor Martin. He gave me a small tour of his work place. Then we started to work.

Our first task was to install a GPS navigation system and alarm system on the vehicle Toyota Avensis.

When we installed the alarm system and the navigation system, we plugged in the computer and updated the map in the navigation system. After that we checked all fluids, lights and all the gadgets that are installed on the vehicle. When we were done with the work, we had to put all the data into the computer for record-keeping work. It is followed by a break, which I used for having a snack.

After lunch I had to get the spare parts, because we needed them for the customers request as an additional equipment. We took it to the parts of the vehicle, and then install them. When we were done with the work, we cleaned up our work place, I went to change my clothes and then went back to the hostel.
