I started the day before the crack of dawn at 3:30 a.m. After an hour of driving to the airport and almost hitting a deer, we finally arrived at Brnik Airport. It was my first time flying, and when we took off, I found the sound of the plane so funny. It sounded so much like whale sounds from the movies. I think the feeling of a plane taking off is pretty similar to going up in an elevator.
I couldn鈥檛 sleep on the plane, as the seats were not meant for sleeping. While I was bored, I was looking through the advertisement magazine and found an ad for cigarettes and snus. I found that advertisement very interesting. I think that was the first time I had ever seen an advertisement for a nicotine product.
After around an hour, we landed in Z眉rich. While waiting for the plane to Tenerife, I found a machine that gives you the Wi-Fi password if you scan your flight ticket. The airport was huge, but the atmosphere was pretty chill.
On the second flight, I got the window seat. It was pretty cool to see the mountains from above instead of below. The crew was also very nice and friendly. We got lunch in the cutest small plastic boxes. My friend and I also thought the food was more flavorful up in the air, although we were probably just hungry.
The landing was smooth. We arrived at the apartment tired, made pancakes, and went to sleep.
