The day before the hockey games Ama took me to her in-laws farm. They have two sheep’s and a horse. We ( me, Ama and Niko) took the animals inside and give them their food.
After that we went to Nikos parents house. First Ama made coffee and we went outside on the porch to smoke. The view was incredible even though it was already night time. The house is build like 20m away from the lake. They told me that usually every winter the kids sake on the lake. And in summer they swim in it.
After a while I thought that something was missing. I told Ama and she laughed and said “noise”. That was exactly what was missing! The noises of the cars, people talking, just noises. There was none of that! You could actually hear your own thoughts and listen to nothing.
When we went back inside Ama asked if I was hungry and before I even responded she took the food Niko’s mom prepared and heat it up.
When we finished eating Niko drove to some garage because he had to pull snow. Me and Ama went to Niko’s place where we spent the night and the next day we went to hockey games.
