Meeting Spanish people is fun!

Meeting people in Spain can be really fun sometimes. When we were introducing ourselves at the company or in school, everybody was scared at first, because no one knew how to speak in English. Everyone just laughed at the beginning, but after some time, they were ready to start having a conversation with us.

When we started talking to Spanish classmates, they realized we are not as terrible as they think, and soon we started to hang out even outside of the school. They often invited us to go for a drink or to go the centre together. When we went for a drink, it happened a few times that others who we don’t know, came. We needed to introduce ourselves to them but the same story happened, they were scared to talk to us. We found that kind of funny, because we were really nice to them but they were terrified to speak with us. But even if it was uncomfortable at the beginning, we always found a topic to talk about in the end. Mostly we were talking about our country and their country. We also found out, that one of the Spanish students had already been to Slovenia. He told us that he really liked Slovenia and that he will definitely go back one day. They asked us if one of us had ever been to Spain before but none of us were here. At first, they were surprised that none of us had been to Spain before, but then they immediately said that we are more than welcome to come back again.

Here we met a lot of nice people with whom we really had a good time. We also exchanged contacts, in hope of staying in touch with them.
