In the second week in Denmark, we started programming PLC. This was something completely new for me and  I don’t understand everything yet. Some of the things we haven’t even learned in school yet.

Still it was interesting to see how this type of programming works. Even though I felt lost sometimes it helped that I already wrote some programs. Every time I succeeded in something I got more confidence and felt like I was making progress.

The best part was when I actually saw how the program works in the system. It was something completely different than writing code on a computer here everything had a direct impact on the hardware. Even though I don’t understand everything yet I know this will be very useful in 5th year

This whole experience gave me a new view on programming and industrial automation. I know it will take more time to understand everything but I’m already happy that I got to know this system. Now, at least I have a basic idea how things work, and that will definitely make learning easy.
