Outfit Mood: Never Repeat

The thing I liked best about this experience is how it changed the way I feel about myself every single day. I started noticing that I feel better and more confident whenever I dress nicely and express myself through my clothes. Here, people are not afraid of color or standing out.

Spanish and African students especially wear bold outfits, mix patterns, and show their personality through fashion. It’s not just black outfits, tracksuits, skinny jeans, and those puffy jackets that look like trash bags.

Instead, people actually know how to dress and enjoy it. There is a completely different energy when you walk outside and see people being creative. It makes everything feel more alive and inspiring. I especially noticed this at school, where students wear whatever they want without worrying about fitting in. Everyone looks unique, and that individuality creates a really positive vibe.

Back home, it feels very different. Most people dress the same, and there is less freedom in expressing personal style. It almost feels like everyone is trying to blend in instead of stand out. That’s why being here felt so refreshing for me.

I also loved how I could wear a different outfit every day and experiment with my style. It made getting ready in the morning exciting instead of boring. Fashion became something fun and personal, not something limited by what others think.

This is definitely something I will miss the most. Not just the clothes, but the confidence, the creativity, and the energy that comes with it. It taught me that what you wear can really affect how you feel. And for me, it made every day just a little bit better.
