Different people, different culture

The Finns are a very interesting people, because they look very different from us Slovenians. They usually have long beards, interesting hairstyles, tattoos and piercings. They seem very reserved at first, but once you get to know them they are very nice. Almost all Finns smoke and listen to rock and metal music. Personally, I really like hanging out with Finns, because they have a lot of fun and party.

Hockey is very popular in Finland because the weather conditions for ice preparation are very good in winter. There are many hockey teams in Finland. They also have a national hockey championship in certain months. We also watched one of these matches with friends. The teams Kurit and Lives played. It was very intense match, as both teams were very good, but in the end Lives won. I really enjoyed the match because the fans of both teams were cheering very hard. I also met some Finnish friends there, with whom we socialised a bit more. At the end, they asked me if I wanted to go “drifting” with them, as it had snowed just after the match. I was happy to say yes, because I also love adrenaline. We drived to a alarge car park, where there was plenty of space. It was a lot of fun. In the end, we exchange contacts so that we could get together again and go each in his own direction.
