In Tonder, we attended the EUC Syd school, which is a technical school that was founded in 1920. The first thing that struck me was a very tall chimney on which Danish students can learn to be a chimney sweep. After visiting the entire school, we also visited the classrooms where we studied for two weeks. The first week we were in a classroom equipped with computers on which we learned 2D and 3D drawing. We drew a couple of drawings on the Inventor program for the exercise, and then started 3D drawing the grill, which we started making the following week. We entered our drawing into the plasma cutter and then curved the cut pieces according to the plan, welded them with a MAG welder and sanded them. We also made grill grates and handles, as well as a container for preparing charcoal. On Friday, the last day of school, we tested the grills at a joint picnic.
