Finland is a Nordic country in Northern Europe. It covers an area of 338,455 km2, with population of 5.5 million. Helsinki is the country鈥檚 capital and largest city. The land cover is primarily a forest, with more than 180,000 recorded lakes.
On Sunday, 7th of November we finally started our journey to Finland. After a long day of travelling we came to our aparthotel in Lahti. Travelling was kind of exhausting, but at the same time very exciting. On the plane, when we flew above the Finland and I first saw their land it was really beautiful, you could saw countless lakes, and forests that make their country so special.
We also went to school, where we will be working for the next month. At first we went to the wrong location, but soon, we came to the right place. We didn鈥檛 make such a huge mistake, because at least we saw where students from logistics will be working. Anyway their school is very
beautiful and really big. They have a huge workshop, in there they have separate rooms for different work operations, which is pretty awesome.
In my opinion Lahti is a beautiful city, with very nice people. If I compare my expectations and my first impressions, I would say that everything is much better then what I expected. I hope that it would be so much fun and even more interesting for the rest of the exchange.
