Third day in EUC Syd we had a weld test. Fistly we gathered in the class and the teacher explaind how it will start and told us the rules in the workshop, and during welding.We all got our gloves, places and our own welding machines. I was surprised beacuse he showed us how to weld once and told us to try it ourselves. I didn`t weld much in Slovenia buti´ve tried it so i had an idea of how it looks. First couple plates looked very bad but, every next one was better. After we tried and ˝mastered˝ MIG welding we tried TIG. TIG is alot harder and different. You must add the electrode by yourself and move the welding instrument. TIG is alot harder to learn and master. When we´ve all tried TIG, the teacher brought us some metal pieces to build a metal ball . It was pretty hard beacuse you had to weld it in the right angle, so a friend had to help you hold it.
I had leart alot from our teacher in 2 weeks, and I am happy to weld again at home
