It was rainy sunday morning. I went to Jože Pučnik’s airport. At about 10 o’clock I met my escort teachers. My schoolmate Jan was a little late because he forgot his international medical card at home. So, at about 10.30 we all got together. We went inside and we waited for our plane. At first I wasn’t even nervous but every minute passed I was being more and more nervous. Finally we went on a plane and we sat down on our seats. Jan was laughing in my face because he saw how nervous I was. We took off. First 5 minutes it was a bit scary, but then it was amazing. It was like heaven above the clouds.

Our flight took us about hour and a half, then we landed on Charles de Gaulle International Airport. We waited for our luggage and we tried to figure out how to get to our hotel. After we got our bus tickets we got a taxi and about an hour later we got to our hotel. After all the excitement we were hungry, so we went to McDonald’s which was and still is very expensive. After a long day we went to bed.
