Reykjavik has many different companies, small and big, but all contribute to the community!

Interesting facts:

-It has a really low unemployment rate: 2.4%

-80% are working and 18% of these are foreigners.

-Most foreigners are from Poland and Latvia.

We made groups and visited some companies. My group visited a company similar to kickstarter called The innovation center, where they help the idea become a real business.

After the company visit, we had a Reykjavik tour, with the main attraction: Hallgrimskirkja. Which is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city.

For the end of the day we were served with Icelandic specialities like Sheep’s Head (Svið), Dried fish (Harðfiskur) and many more.

Luckily they also made pancakes!
