Today at work was both interesting and challenging. I spent most of the day learning how to operate a Hiab lifting device installed on a truck. The task we had was to carefully and precisely place a 5-liter can into 10 different buckets, each set up in various positions. It was important to ensure that the can was placed accurately without spilling any of its contents.

I started by familiarizing myself with the controls of the Hiab lifting device. It was a bit tricky at first, but my colleague showed me the proper technique. The device had several settings that I needed to adjust depending on the position of each bucket. We also had to take into account the weight of the can and ensure that it was properly balanced during the lift.

As we worked, I realized that precision was key, as even the slightest mistake could lead to spilling the liquid. We had to move quickly but carefully, making sure the can landed perfectly into each bucket. I felt a sense of accomplishment as I successfully placed the can into each of the buckets without any errors

The most challenging part was adjusting the lifting device for different angles and heights. It required careful coordination between my hands and the machine’s controls. By the end of the day, I had gained more confidence in using the lifting device. I was proud of how efficiently we completed the task, and it was a rewarding experience.

One of the highlights of the day was driving a massive 27-meter-long truck, a size that cannot be seen in Slovenia. Maneuvering such a large vehicle required extra caution and skill, especially in tight spaces. It was an exciting challenge, and I was proud of how smoothly I handled it.

Overall, today was a productive day at work. I not only learned  new skills, but I also gained a better understanding of the importance of precision in our job.
