WORK DAY

The days during the week were mostly the same. I had to be at work at 8 a.m. I got up at 7:00
in the morning, ate breakfast, brushed my teeth, and headed for work. At about 7.50am I was
ready for work and I had just enough time to go one floor higher to get coffee. At 8.00 am, the
mentor brought the vehicle to the workshop where we repaired it together. There were usually
brakes to replace or some sort of service. We had coffee break from 9.30am to 9.45am. After
the break, work continued until 11.30 a.m, until lunch break. Lunch was brought for all the
employees. It was very good, similar to our food just a little more spicy. From 12.00 p.m we
worked on until the next coffee break which was from 13.30 to 13.45. I then worked until
4pm when it was the end of the working day and I could go home. Their work is very
interesting as they had a deadline when the vehicle should be repaired. But that deadline is
very long. In Slovenia, I would do two in the time provided for one service. And if you’re too
fast you can sit back and wait for the next car.
