April 9, 2022 was the last day for us, very long as we had a train from Vaasa at 5.44 am. I
woke up at 4.45 a.m to pack all the remaining things. I drank coffee and ate breakfast, and
then Nik and I headed to the train station at 5.20 a.m. It took us 15 minutes to get there. The
train was already waiting for us and we boarded. The ride took about 4 hours. In Tikkurila we
boarded another train for the airport. We were at the airport around 10am. We checked in our
luggage where we had trouble paying because our suitcases were too heavy. Everything else
went normally. However, they seemed to more complicate than in Brnik. We waited at the
airport for a few more hours and then boarded the plane. We took off at 13.30 and landed in
Frankfurt at 15.05. The airport in Frankfurt is very big and we had to hurry as we had a plane
on the other side of the airport. We arrived in Brnik at 5.15 pm. We waited until we got our
suitcases and left. It was interesting that it was snowing in Slovenia when we arrived, but in
Finland it was sunny and very warm for this time of the year.
