We kicked off our trip really early, at 4:30 in the morning. Everyone met up in front of our school in Ljubljana, still feeling a little sleepy but excited. Then, we jumped into two vans and drove to the airport in Zagreb. The ride was quiet at first, but soon we started chatting and getting more excited about the journey ahead. Once we arrived at the airport, we had to wait for about two hours before our flight. The flight to Denmark lasted about an hour and a half, and most of us spent the time either sleeping or looking out the window. When we landed in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, we had to wait for around two hours to catch a train. The airport was big and modern, and we spent some time exploring and grabbing snacks. Finally, we boarded a train for a little less than four hours to reach Sonderborg. The train ride was long, but we enjoyed watching the Danish countryside pass by. Once we arrived, we ate dinner and went for a short walk around Sonderborg with our teachers. The town looked beautiful. Even though we were tired, we were happy to stretch our legs and take in the new surroundings. After that, we headed to our boarding house to settle in and rest. It was a long journey, but the excitement of being in a new country made it all worth it. We couldn’t wait to explore more, meet new people, and experience life in Denmark!
