My first big project in the company was working on an electric car. It wasn’t that difficult. I just had to replace a lot of pipes because they were leaking coolant. In the end, it turned out to be more complicated than the work itself because some of them were in very inaccessible places. The first thing wee had to do was to use a diagnostic tool to relieve the pressure in the system and open all the valves so that the coolant could flow out. We urgently had to turn off the high-voltage system. My mentor helped me with this because the diagnostic tool is in Czech. When we were done with that, the service manager came to take pictures of everything before I started working. When I started with I first prepared all the tools I would need. Then I started with the first pipe, which was the most accessible, and continued towards the less accessible ones. Somewhere halfway through the work, it was twelve o’clock and we went for lunch. The lunch was good and full of flavor. After lunch, I continued working. It was two o’clock when I finished work, which meant I had to go home and we would go for a test drive the next day. The next day after the test drive, we checked again for leaks. When we were sure everything was fine, we cleaned the car and returned it to the owner.
