found working in the school workshop very interesting and different from back home in Slovenia. After a tour of the school, we were sorted into workshops. They made me work on motorcycles. At first, the professor didn’t let me work on motorcycles because he thought I didn’t know how. After a while, he let me work on motorcycles because I told him that I also repair motorcycles in Slovenia. Most of the time, we did what we already knew on motorcycles. These were mainly engine repair services. I also learned how to rebuild suspensions because the professor specialized in motorcycle suspensions. At first, I just watched how things were done, and then he let me do something too. I found it very interesting to rebuild suspensions on motorcycles because I had never done it before. The only thing I didn’t like was that it all took a very long time. The students were always waiting for the professor to come and check if they had done it right, but the professor was very busy, so we always waited for him for a long time. After the suspensions rebuild we got a new bike where we had to check the valves and change the spark plugs. It wasn’t a big challenge for me because I’ve been doing this for a while. When we finished working on this bike we finished the job and went home.
