Me and eleven other students from our school SIC Ljubljana, went on Denmark last weekend. The journey was pretty excited. First day all I ate was a sandwich and burgers. We visit Burger king at the airport in Denmark and McDonald鈥檚 in the town we stay, Sonderborg.聽 I鈥檓 not very particular about what I eat and I was really curious what kind of food will I get in Denmark. First morning in our hostel, we had a breakfast about seven o鈥檆lock.聽 I was so surprised when I came to the canteen, but in a good way. It was so much to choose from. There was fruit, cut in slices and 3 types of yogurt, and many types of salami. I liked it a lot.
Then we went to school. We had lessons for 4 hours and then lunch at 12 am. There were a lot of choices in the school too. From pasta to some bread filled with tomato paste and garlic. And I enjoyed that too. And this is how the days repeated. We ate a lot of pasta and rice, especially for dinner. It was pasta all the time, with different sauces. I really like different home town food and I would like to try them all, but now, I can鈥檛 wait to come home and eat a steak and beef soup.
