LIFE IS LIFE, NA NA, NANA NA…

In Finland hockey is a very popular sport, and everyone is talking about it, so we decided that we wanted to go see one of the matches. But there was one more thing. Our school actually decided that they were going to buy us a ticket for  the hockey match. We also went to the fan shop and bought hoodies with a Tappara logo on them.

The hockey match was scheduled on Thursday 17th of november at 18.30. Me, my friends and our professor  agreed to meet in the front of the Nokia arena one hour before the match started, so we could avoid crowds. We went inside, showed our cards and went into  the hall. We were waiting for the match to start, and there was different kinds of music and a big light show while we were waiting. Then the countdown started and we got prepared for the match between Tappara and Kärpät. We cheered for Tappara, because they were last year’s champions, and they were the home team. After that the players came on to the field, fireworks started and  there was a fire show. Overall the fans remained calm and barely cheered . The only ones that were constantly cheering were the Tappara fan club. My favorite moment from the match was when Tappara scored the goal, and the song Life is life started playing. In the end the score was 4 : 1 for Tappara. When the match was over we went out and took a trolley home. It was an awesome experience and we all really enjoyed it. We might go see another match in a few days!

Till then… Jaka
