Difference between Ljubljana and Brno is not that big. Like in Slovenia where Ljubljna and Maribor have problems with each other, is the same between Brno and Praga.
Brno is just bigger Ljubljana, there is more to see, and the city center is bigger. There is not a lot of tourist, like in Ljubljna. A lot of natives live outside the city, but because the city is bigger they have to wake up earlier to get to work/school.
The publickt transport is a lot more advance then in Slovenija. In brno they have buses and trams, and they work together in some kind of harmoney. I didn’t had any probles getting to places. And you dont have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for next bus or tram to come, they drive on 5 to 10 minutes.
The pay and prices are mostly the same, some things are cheper then others, some are more expencive. We always have to convert crowns into euro, so that we understand how much we are paying.
Older people do not speak english very well, so sometimes is hard to understand each other in the store or ticket shop. Younger people do speak english, but the level of knowledge they have is different from person to person.
