During my Erasmus stay in Brno, we visited a BMW dealership, and honestly, it was way more interesting than I expected. When we got there, we even met the owner. He talked a bit about the business, and it was kind of crazy to hear how big everything is and how much money is involved. It made me realize that a car dealership at this level is not just about cars, but also about serious business. The best part for me was the collection of older cars. There were a lot of classic models, and you could really feel the history around them. I especially remember the BMW 635 CSi and the BMW E46 M3 — seeing them in real life was something else. There was also a very old historical car connected to Adolf Hitler, which was surprising and honestly a bit strange to see in person.
After that, we moved into the main showroom, where everything felt modern and completely different. There were new models like the BMW M2 CS, BMW M4 CS, BMW 7 Series, BMW X7, and the BMW X7 M60i. Everything looked super clean and high-tech, and you could really see how much things have changed compared to the older cars. Overall, I really liked this visit. It didn’t feel like a typical school trip — it was more relaxed and actually interesting. I enjoyed seeing both the history and the newest models in one place, and it’s definitely something I’ll remember from my Erasmus experience.
