On Sunday, 13th of March 2022, I woke up at 4 am for my last Slovenian meal this month. Then I got in my car and drove to Ljubljana Brnik Airport, where I met with my schoolmates and professors. We had our first flight at 7:05 am. After about an hour we landed in Frankfurt. There we waited for our second flight, which was at 10 am. The flight was supposed to be 2 hours long but due to time difference it lasted 3 hours. We landed in Helsinki at 1 pm Finnish time. The view from the plane was magnificent and the plane flew above Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Sweden and Finland. After landing we took a train for about an hour and a half to get to Tampere. Just for reference, the train was going 160 km/h. Finnish landscape is very flat and white (at winter time) due to snow of course. The forests we have seen so far have mostly been coniferous trees mixed with deciduous trees, spruce trees and beech trees are prevailing. When we arrived at Tampere’s main train station, our guide was already waiting for us. He then took us to the final destination.
