My iPhone took a swim

I’ve had my iPhone for three years now. Two years ago, during a six-month pactical lessons, I dropped it, and the back glass shattered. There was even a small hole where you could see inside. It still worked fine, so I kept using it.

Now, in Denmark, somehow water got inside. At first, I thought my phone was completely dead. I even started looking for a new one. But then, by accident, I pressed the volume button, and it vibrated. That’s when I realized the phone was actually working, only the screen was broken.

I searched online for a repair shop nearby and found “Multimedia Repar” in the city center. I took my phone there, and they told me they could fix it in a day. I left it with them and hoped for the best.

The next day, I picked it up, and it was as good as new. The repair cost me €180, or about 1350 DKK. It wasn’t cheap, but at least I didn’t have to buy a new phone. Lesson learned, don’t ignore a cracked phone, and definitely keep it away from water
