Tucked away near Jyvaskyla, the Finnish Aeronautics Museum offers  look into Finland’s aviation history. We got driven there by our two schoolmates. The drive there was around 25minutes from our school. Stepping through the doors, you are immediately greeted by historic aircraft that tell stories of innovation and resilience.A lot of the planes have the german cross on it. The conditions of these machines is impressive, especially considering the harsh conditions they were often designed to endure. The planes have buttons before them that you can press that play the engine sound. Stories of pilots and engineers add a human element .In some planes you can also sit and play with the controls. Some famous aircraft types like the Messerschmitt Bf 109 and MiG jets are on display. it also Covers everything from carrier pigeons to modern surveillance tech. When we left we went outside se had a little walk around the museum. We saw a lot of planes that were used in military training exersize. There is also a military training place near and we saw a finish BAE Hawk fighter

jet flying over us.The museum also had big dish radars outside that we saw for the first time. All things considered it was an incredible experience for just 10 Euros.
