Even tho they were black they were delicious

Morrroooo 😉

On Thursday Tomi invited us to try some traditional black sausages-‘’Mustamakkara’’ from Tampere. We weren’t actually surprised about the

taste, because we also have them in Slovenia. They are made of pork meat and some other ingredients but it is better if we don’t mention them (haha). Finnish people eat them with a special cranberry sauce which is sweet. It’s an interesting taste. I liked it. We also tried a sausage with cheese, it was good but nothing special. We all missed bread because we are used to it. The prices really surprised us. We paid less than 10€ for 4 portions. Then we continued our journey to the pyynikin tower and we made another tick on our bucket list. Of course we had to try

most famous donuts- ‘’Munkki’’ in Tampere.

They are similar to Slovenian ‘’flanceti’’ but covered in some white sugar and I guess vanilla and lemon verbena sugar. They were extremely delicious and also extremely expensive. We paid 3€/donut which is more than we paid for the sausages. The view from the tower was nothing special. I preferred the one from the Hotel Torni and it was free. For the pyynikin tower we paid 2€/ person. It is not expensive but its also nothing special. I have to admit that the weather did a total injustice to the view.

Goodbye, don’t cry….we’ll be back
