A Quiet Visit to the Church

One day, Bernard and I were walking back from school. On the way, I suggested that we stop by the church to take some pictures. The building looked really impressive from the outside. After taking a few photos, we checked if the church was open. Unfortunately, it was closed. We later found out that it is only open from Wednesday to Friday between 11 and 14. I told myself that I would come back another day.

On Friday, I decided to visit the church alone. I quietly walked inside, not really knowing what to expect. The interior was very bright, white, and surprisingly spacious. It felt calm and peaceful, completely different from the busy city outside. The minimalistic design made the space feel even bigger.

After a moment, a woman approached me and asked why I had come. I told her that I just wanted to see the inside of the church. She kindly said that I was welcome and that I could also pray if I wanted. She asked me where I was from and if I was a student. We had a short but friendly conversation.

After that, I continued walking around and observing the details. The ceiling was definitely the most memorable part. It was decorated with small star-like lights that gave the whole place a special atmosphere. The light coming through the windows made everything feel even more peaceful. It’s the kind of place where you naturally slow down.

Outside, the church looks just as beautiful as inside. The architecture is simple but elegant. It stands out, even though it’s surrounded by the city. Overall, it was a calm and interesting experience, and I’m glad I decided to come back.
