EXPECTATIONS
Before I came to Denmark, I did not know much about Danish people. I only knew that I would have to speak English with them. I also thought that my basic knowledge of German might help me understand their language better.

JOINT ACTIVITIES
In the next days, we found out that Danish people are very open. In the student bar, they invited us to sit at their table and even paid for our drinks as guests. They also invited us to afternoon activities, such as a billiard tournament and laser shooting games. In the evenings, they invited us to watch a movie or a football match together.
Many times, people first spoke to us in Danish because we look quite similar to them.
PERSONAL OPINION
Personally, I think that Danish people are very open and hospitable. I really enjoy spending time in their company. We were told that the Danes are not considered the most sociable people, which in my experience was not true.
