A normal work day starts at around 8 or 9 am. We first go to change our clothes to safety jackets and shoes. Then we usually do some basic forklift training like picking up pallets and dropping them of or loading a trailer. Then our main teacher Antti gave us a forklift exercise where you have to pick up a pallet with a water container on it that is open from the top. You have to move trough a course with a lot of corners and it is especially hard since it’s open so you have to move very slowly and can’t make any sudden movements. Then we went to lunch and when we came back they said we could drive the truck simulator. Since the teacher had to go to lunch he showed us how to restart the simulation if you crash. So we were there alone for about an hour doing some basic driving. But when he came back he set us up with some exercises which was much more fun. And then at around 3 we went home and our workday ended.
