Finland is a country in the east of Scandinavia. The West Borders Sweden and the east with the Baltic shields. Its surface is measured almost 339,000 square kilometres and is one of the world‘s largest countries. Its capital city is Helsinki, which lies in the south of the country. Finland has around 5,477,359 million inhabitants and about 2 million saunas, one of the most typical cases in Finland. Its official languages are Finnish and Swedish. Finland has a cold continental climate characterized by warm summers with a temperature of up to 30 degrees, the nights are short and bright, and winters are long, cold and with a plethora of snow. Finland is a country composed of more than 188,000 lakes and many forests. The most widespread species are spruce, birch, pine and larch. In the culinary cuisine we shine a lot of fish, cereals and milk and potatoes and of course traditional dishes. They have their own culture of eating as they drink water, milk or domestic non–alcoholic beer during each meal. During meals always eat bread with butter or just add it to the food as a supplement. Their traditional breakfast is made up of oatmeal as they would say in Slovenia pulp (Puuro). The inhabitants of Finland are great lovers of coffee as they daily drink about 7 cups of coffee. They are also very lovers of sweet dishes, beverages and sweets, which can also be purchased by the Kilograme. Among their traditional beverages, we can also name a vodka Finland, beer Karhu and Jaloviina brandy. They are also lovers of American culture, because they like to drive old American cars.
