Bergamo is a city in Lombardy, Italy, located about 40 km northeast of Milan and 30 km from the lakes of Como and Iseo. The Bergamian Alps start immediately north of the city. Bergamo is the seat of the province of Bergamo. With around 120.000 inhabitants, it is the fourth largest city in Lombardy.Bergamo is famous for its wealth of artistic treasures and enchanting medieval atmosphere.It is a real life tale pf two cities: Citt脿 Alta,the upper city with rich heritage of art and history and Citt脿 Bassa the busy and the modern lower city. From 2015 is Bergamo the second most visited city in Lombardy.
