Alarms for a sunny day

During our stay on Tenerife, we got two orange alarms for Santa Cruz.

The weather during this one month was bipolar to say the least, we couldn’t really rely on the forecasts. Most of the time, when we planned a trip on a sunny forecast it turned into cloudy or drizzling, and the opposite for our days inside! We were quite shocked when we recieved a warning from the principal about the first alarm. But since that meant that we didn`t have to go to school it was fine by us. We stayed inside and low and behold, it was sunny…during the day. At night it got windy, it got so bad, I couldn’t sleep because of the noise. One of our balcony doors kept slamming shut and opening, i got so annoyed I locked it. It didn`t help at all as the other door started to open and slam shut! The next day it was sunny again, i looked outside and didn`t see any damages.

Apparently other cities were hit harder and had damages. The next alarm surprised us, even though we were aware of it. We were getting ready for bed when all our phones started to sound the alarm in Spanish, we were shocked at first, then laughed it off. As before, we weren’t hit hard, or at all in my opinion, since it was just cloudy. We were also home that day and decided to spend out time playing games, having fun and writing blogs.

The last week was also bipolar, our trip to Siam park was supposed to be sunny but as you probably expect by now…it wasn’t. Then on the day we left it was sunny, finally! At last!

I hope the weather calms down for them and I hope Slovenia wont be too cold.
