There are a lot of beautiful churches in Brno thats why I started asking myself if people here are religious and after asking a friend here and a quick Google search, I was told that they are not religious at all they are quite the opposite.
Most people here dont believe in God, they are atheists. When I googled the percentage of people who are religious, it said that only 20 % of people believe in god and go to church which is very low in my opinion. The friend I talked to also said that a lot of people are also feeling lost because they dont believe in God, like they dont have a purpose, he said. I cant say if I agree or not, but if he thinks so, I think that is pretty sad.
The most beautiful church in Brno is by far the Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul its located on a little hill next to the main train station its very tall and very beautiful. It was made in the Baroque style, and its very extravagant.
My second favorite is The Church of Jan Amos Comenius – Red Church. The church stands out in Brno for its Brick Gothic style. It truly feels completely different from anything else in Brno, so its really unique.
There are more churches in Brno that I saw but these 2 stand out for me for sure. One for its unique style and one for its glory and beauty.
