On Monday, the day after coming here our great teacher Lukasz showed us the way to the city center so we could buy the monthly public transport tickets. The ticket for local students here is less than 10 euros, and for us it was the normal price of 22 euros, which is an amazing price for how good the Public transport is.
They have buses and trams here the trams come every 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the line. Our favourite number 6 comes every 5 minutes, which is amazing especially in the mornings so you don’t need to worry too much about being late for work. The buses work a little differently because they have a daytime and a night time schedule. They come every 15 minutes, but at night time they come every 30 minutes, and they all start from the main train station at 00:00 or 00:30 so its easy to keep track when they are coming.

We were mostly using trams because you can get anywhere with them. They are also faster the max speed is 70 km/h which when driving through the city feels very fast.
The locals here are still not happy with the public transport they say that its bad, but what is Slovenian public transport then?
A few fun facts I learned about the Brno trams. Brno was the first city in the Czech Republic to use trams. The first trams were used in 1869 they were pulled by horses. They bought new trams last year one of them cost around 3 million euros.
