Museum of Central Finland

Near the university area, the Museum of Central Finland shows the history of the region. We got there by bus and it was quite quick. The building is simple but modern but looks freshly remodeled.Inside you can learn about how people lived in the past. There are old tools and clothes on display. Some exhibitions show traditional Finnish homes. It was interesting to see how different life was before. There are also stories about Jyväskylä itself. You can see how the city developed over time. There are models of old buildings. Some parts are interactive which makes it more engaging. You can press buttons and see more information. There are also videos and photos. The museum is very informative but not boring.Everything is explained in a interesting but simple way.We spent quite a lot of time there. After the visit we walked outside nearby. The area around the museum is nice and calm.It helped us understand local culture better.Overall it was a very educational experience.
