Tour of the biggest school in the Czech Republic ISSA (Integrovaná střední škola automobilní)

ISSA is a school meant only for car-related fields like bodywork, mechanics, logistics, economics, electronics, etc. They are the biggest school in the Czech Republic, and something that is not usually the case in Czechia is that there is only one field of study in one location. They told us it’s usually more than one field; for example, a cooking school and a car mechanic school in the same building, which is not the case in Slovenia.
The school is in two locations; the main one is the one we toured. It has three big buildings: one is the driving school, one is a large gym with classrooms, and the biggest one has all the workshops on the ground floor and classrooms on the upper floor. The workshops are very clean and spacious; I would say that their smallest workshop is bigger than our biggest one. They have a specific workshop for every kind of work they do (motorbike workshop, mechanical workshop, tinsmith’s workshop, etc.). Also, the students there get paid when they work on customers’ cars—not a lot, but it’s enough for them to buy something to drink and eat from the break room. Most of the students follow the same system of one week in the workshops and one week in the classrooms, which in my opinion is very good.
From what I heard from the students of ISSA, they are very happy with their teachers and the programs they are in. They said that they learn the most inside school, which was not the case for me—I learned most outside of school.
