I got an internship at my dream job. Since I was little, I always wanted to work on expensive cars like Mercedes. Over the years, that dream became even more specific, and I realized that I only wanted to work on Mercedes cars. At first, I thought that everyone in the workshop would be arrogant, but they were not. They were actually very friendly and happy to see someone new in the workshop. One of the best feelings during the internship was working on my dream car, the Mercedes G-Class. I can’t thank Erasmus enough for giving me this opportunity. The only thing I noticed is that they sometimes work a little slower than we do in Slovenia, but I got used to it. Sometimes it is even funny because they can’t keep up with me while I am working, and I kind of like that. If someone asked me whether I would take the risk of coming here again, my answer would definitely be yes. During the internship I also learned many new things about Mercedes vehicles. The mechanics showed me different tools and techniques that I had never used before. Working in a professional workshop helped me gain a lot of practical experience. I also improved my communication skills by talking with new people every day. This internship confirmed that working on Mercedes cars is something I really want to do in my life.
