On our last day, Vesa, the school car body mechanic and organizer, prepared something special for us. He told us that we would go ice fishing. We walked to the school to gather fishing gear and loaded it into the car. We drove to the store to buy some worms for bait. After we got our worms, we drove to the lake. First, Vesa showed us how to make a hole in the lake. All four of you did it, and it was easy. Then we put our worm on the hook and started fissing. After one hour of fissing, we only caught two fish. But that wasn’t the end of the surprise. Vesa also prepared us a meal. The meal contained mashed potatoes with deer meat, grilled sausages, and, for dessert, some raw salmon with bread. After we finished our meal, we packed up and went back to our hotel.
