TAKING IT SLOW AT WORK

In Finland, they have a different way of working鈥攕low and steady. Instead of rushing, they focus on doing things well and taking breaks when they need to. This helps them feel good about their work and stay happy.Finnish workers like to take their time to do things right. They don’t hurry through tasks. They also know it’s important to take breaks. Whether it’s having a cup of coffee or going for a walk, breaks help them stay refreshed and creative. They have a word called “sisu,” which means being strong and never giving up. Finnish people use sisu to keep going, even when things are tough. In Finnish workplaces, trust is important. Workers can manage their own time and work on their own. This trust makes them feel responsible and want to do a good job.Overall, Finnish people show us that taking it slow can make work more enjoyable and fulfilling. Maybe we can learn from them and slow down a little too.
