My first thought was that I wouldn’t be home for a month, but I knew it would be a great experience. And so the day of departure arrived, we had to get up very early because we had the first flight from Brnik at 9 am.After arriving at the airport, we checked in our luggage and all we had to do was wait. It was my first time on a plane and I really liked it. When we arrived in Istanbul, we had to hurry, because our next flight was in an hour. Istanbul airport is very huge and it took us half an hour to get to the right terminal. We were served lunch on the plane, and it wasn’t as bad as it looked. After landing in Helsinki, it was already dark outside. We collected our luggage and headed to the subway. At that time, we still had a 3-hour train ride to Jyvaskyla. We arrived in the city around eleven o’clock in the evening and after that we walked to the apartment. When we finally got to the apartment, I took a shower and went to bed after a long day. In the morning, the first day at school, when we woke up it was sunny but very cold. After visiting the school, we took a break to recharge our batteries for the whole week.
