Travelling to and in Finland has been great so far. The flight to Istanbul and the one from Istanbul to Helsinki were both great. Although I’m pretty biased since I really enjoy flying. We also got a meal on each flight and each seat had a TV with headphones. I just wish we had more time in the Istanbul airport. Since it was massive and there were a bunch of things to see. It was also filled with so many different travellers from different parts of the world. It also had every store you could think of, from Starbucks to Gucci and Dior. Travelling in Finland has been great. Although it is pretty expensive if you don’t have their student card. But other than that the connections and travel time are pretty good. Especially the train system in Tampere. The inter-city trains are also pretty nice. It can be pretty hard to get seats on the smaller ones though. But overall I’ve been surprised with the quality of public transport in Tampere.
